Mathilde Louise Wilhelmine, known as Mathilde, was born on January 4th, 1877 in Breslau (DE) sinds 1945 Wroclaw (PL). Mathilde's father was Louis Oscar August (Louis) Winkler and her mother was Hermine Mathilde Anna (Mathilde) Syring.  Her paternal grandparents were August Winkler and Friederieke Seide; her maternal grandparents were Gustav Alexander (Alexander) Syring and Dorothea Weinhold.  She had six brothers and seven sisters, named Hans, Friedrich, Georg, Wilhelm Friedrich Ludwig, Herbert, Walther, Margarete, Else, Frieda, Dorothea Ida Katharina, Katherine, Alice / Licel and Mathilde / Tilla.  She was the third oldest of the fourteen children.  She died at just 17 days old on January 21st, 1877 in Breslau (DE) sinds 1945 Wroclaw (PL).  Her burial was in Gräbschen (DE) sinds 1945 Wroclaw-Grabiszyn (PL).1 1
