Antje was born on March 20th, 1777 in Schellingwoude (NL) and her baptism took place there on March 23rd, 1777.1  Antje's father was Frans Greuning and her mother was Mietje Steening.  She had three brothers and six sisters, named Jan, Hendrik, Hendrik, Aaltje, Antje, Hendrikje, Maretje, Gerritje and Gerritje.  She was the nineth oldest of the ten children.
