Jacob was born on March 3rd, 1813 in Amsterdam (NL).  Jacob's father was Gijsbrant (Reijndertszoon) Kramer and his mother was Fenna Visser.  His paternal grandparents were Reijndert Janszoon Kramer and Jannetje Harmsdochter Slinger.  He was an only child.  He died at the age of 51 on March 4th, 1864 in Amsterdam (NL).
