Henderica Geertruij was born about January 17th, 1779 in Amsterdam (NL) and her baptism took place there on January 17th, 1779.1  Henderica Geertruij's father was Barend Baars and her mother was Hendrijntje (Henderika) van Hammersveld.  She had two brothers and three sisters, named Jan, Barent, Henderika Maria, Willemiena and Barentje.  She was the fifth oldest of the six children.
